Sukkot commemorates the 40 years the Israelites spent wandering in the desert after the Exodus, living in temporary shelters. It is also a harvest festival celebrating divine protection and abundance.

Building and eating/sleeping in a sukkah (temporary hut), waving the four species (lulav, etrog, myrtle, willow), synagogue services, hospitality.
